Henri Matisse

He is a 20th century painter and the most prominent representative of Fauvism (Fovism); one of the first artistic avant-gardes of the twentieth century, characterized by the use of brushstrokes and excessive colors as well as a representation of emotions. Matisse moved in different styles and did numerous works in art fields, such as sculpture, lithography, drawing, and collage.
